Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Inner Refuge, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals.

• Engaging continuously with referral sources and community resources to coordinate effective support and communicate client progress.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring all files are updated within 48 hours of service completion.
\n
• Offering intervention and emergency support as needed, following established after-hours on-call protocols.
\n
• Participating in programmatic meetings, such as clinical supervision and team meetings, to facilitate a cohesive treatment approach.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to each client's presenting issues, including challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and adjustment disorders.

• Preparing comprehensive discharge summaries to assist clients in their transition phases effectively.
\n
• Providing therapeutic services in various formats, including individual, family, and group therapy, depending on client needs and preferences.

You will be working with a diverse clientele, consisting of adults and adolescents presenting with an array of mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a human services-related field is required.

• Current licensure in the District of Columbia as an LPC, LMFT, or LICSW.
