Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily tasks will include essential functions such as:

• Conducting thorough intake interviews and assessments to gather psycho-social data from clients, their families, and relevant third parties.

• Maintaining accurate and organized program files in adherence to the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
\n
• Collaboratively developing and implementing individualized crisis and treatment plans that build on each client's unique strengths and goals.
\n
• Consulting with psychiatric providers and other healthcare professionals, including ARNPs and substance use specialists, to coordinate care effectively.
\n
• Providing appropriate referrals for clients requiring services outside your scope of practice, ensuring they have access to comprehensive support.

You will be serving a diverse clientele, including individuals and families dealing with various mental health challenges and substance use disorders. This role emphasizes the importance of an integrated healthcare approach, especially in working with adolescents and their families affected by substance use issues. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping clients achieve their mental health goals and improving their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid, full license from the Washington State Department of Health at the time of hire.

• A Bachelor's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.

• Residency within Washington State to facilitate local collaboration and outreach.

Preferred Experience\n

We value candidates with the following experiences:

• At least three years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating expertise in an integrated healthcare setting.

• Specialized training or substantial experience working with adolescents facing substance use issues.
\n
• Expertise in family therapy, particularly concerning families affected by substance use disorders.

• Experience in trauma-informed care and interventions.
\n
• A minimum of one year working in a substance use disorder treatment setting within the last five years or completion of a KP Addiction Medicine internship.

Unified Care NW offers a competitive salary ranging between $100,000 and $105,000 annually.
