Work Environment

This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where you will provide onsite care within our clients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and needs in a home care setting to establish tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and utilization of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records of treatments administered, responses, and achievements toward therapeutic goals.
• Continuously assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and evolving needs, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on the use of assistive devices, self-care strategies, and effective physical therapy practices to foster independence.
• Stay current with industry developments and maintain professional competence through ongoing education, workshops, and professional networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will be on patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or dealing with chronic conditions. You will work with individuals of all ages, ensuring that each patient receives highly personalized care that aligns with their specific recovery goals. Your expertise will enable you to assist patients in achieving significant improvements in their physical health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) along with an active license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and engage with patients and caregivers.
• Proficiency in documentation and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for tracking patient progress.
• A flexible and adaptive mindset, ready to embrace the unique challenges that come with home health care delivery.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred, newly graduated professionals who demonstrate strong foundational knowledge and enthusiasm for home care are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with a wide range of physical therapy modalities will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with an employer match, disability and life insurance, paid family leave, and generous paid time off. Additionally, new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
