Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews and standardized assessments to identify treatment needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to clients' needs.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and providing ongoing support and encouragement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. Your skills in cultural competence will be crucial in providing effective therapy that respects the backgrounds and experiences of all clients. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Proficiency in developing treatment plans and conducting therapy sessions with clients across various demographics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
