In this remote role, you will primarily engage with patients via secure virtual platforms, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for both you and the families you serve. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs of children and adolescents, utilizing various assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients and their families to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that account for individual developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that educate and empower caregivers, enhancing their capacity to support their child's emotional and mental well-being.

• Work closely with our team of child psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to coordinate holistic care approaches for our young patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, including progress notes and treatment evaluations.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss patient progress, share insights, and develop strategic interventions.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including participating in workshops and staying informed about the latest research in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. This includes providing therapeutic support to those dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders. You'll be instrumental in creating a supportive space where young clients feel heard and valued, working towards better coping strategies and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities.

• Experience in providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology to streamline patient documentation and care management.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to group dynamics.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience working directly with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting, preferably within an outpatient environment.

• Experience conducting group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops is a plus.

• Training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
