Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or a trusted environment. Our telehealth facility leverages innovative technologies to connect you with patients while ensuring a secure, confidential, and comfortable setting for therapy. Operating hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to accurately identify emotional, psychological, and social needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics, ensuring all interventions are evidence-based and culturally sensitive.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention, effectively addressing issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of child psychiatrists, educators, and other mental health professionals to create a coordinated care plan for each patient.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to actively participate in their treatment process.

• Maintain professional documentation in electronic health records (EHR) while ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous learning by attending training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to stay current with emerging practices and research in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Tranquil Talk Therapy, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues. This includes children grappling with anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral challenges. Our integrated approach emphasizes family involvement, recognizing the critical role that caregivers play in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a child-centered approach in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses. Additionally, new team members are eligible for a sign-on bonus upon successful hiring.
