Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique challenges and aspirations.

• Lead engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure a holistic approach for every patient, enhancing the effectiveness of their care.

• Participate in ongoing education and professional development, keeping abreast of the latest industry practices and guidelines to continually improve service delivery.

• Contribute your insights and recommendations for program development to improve current service offerings and adapt to the evolving needs of our client population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will work with encompass a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, reflecting the diverse community of Islip and surrounding areas. You will provide specialized therapeutic interventions to clients primarily facing emotional challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and relational difficulties. Through personalized care plans, your efforts will directly contribute to their emotional resilience and overall wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure in New York State as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW is essential for this role.

• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing therapeutic support to individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport and trust-building with clients, ensuring a comfortable therapeutic environment.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus, enhancing efficiency in documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include a weekly direct deposit, flexible work scheduling, and comprehensive administrative support.
