Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and current mental health needs, employing your clinical judgment to guide treatment decisions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on resilience and trauma recovery, drawing from evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to engage patients effectively.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies when necessary, demonstrating your ability to remain composed under pressure.

• Guide patients and their families through understanding trauma responses, strengthening their coping mechanisms, and identifying additional resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Understanding their unique experiences is pivotal to developing treatment plans focused on empowerment and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidenced-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
