Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Head Hunters Chiropractic Clinic, you will:

• Direct individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and restore muscle function, all in accordance with the plan of care.
• Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic assessments and tests related to muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Evaluate client home environments, providing recommendations to facilitate rehabilitation and promote independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and assist clients in functional activities, tailoring techniques to each individual's capabilities.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, including traction and massage, along with physical agents in treatment modalities.
• Assess, fit, and recommend adjustments for prosthetic and orthotic devices in consultation with the referring physician.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations and discharge summaries, in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team discussions, contributing insights to collective case planning and evaluation.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and their families, providing consultations about therapy programs and maintaining open communication throughout the treatment process.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of best practices in physical therapy.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current valid PT licensure in California, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
