Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients, particularly focusing on children with varying needs.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's goals and challenges.
• Monitoring and reassessing the treatment effectiveness and adapting goals based on clinical observations and patient progress.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation using our electronic health record system, which includes SOAP notes and progress summaries.
• Educating patients and their families on the recovery journey, addressing challenges, and discussing progress to motivate ongoing engagement.
• Aiming to meet utilization targets while contributing to overall clinic business objectives.
• Collaborating with colleagues across different therapy disciplines to ensure cohesive care pathways for patients accessing multiple services.
• Actively promoting and embodying the core values of Physiocare, serving as an ambassador for our therapeutic philosophy and approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, which includes individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses. This role involves not only addressing physical rehabilitation needs but also understanding the cultural and emotional factors that influence patient recovery. You will have the opportunity to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, adapting your approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited PT program.
• A current and unrestricted physical therapy license issued by the state of California.
• The willingness and capability to conduct evaluations and physical therapy sessions both in-person and remotely as deemed appropriate for patient needs.
• A strong passion for working with a diverse patient population, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with a focus on collaborative, patient-centered care, ensuring outstanding service throughout their care journey.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, especially involving pediatric care, will be considered advantageous. Compensation and Benefits
