Work Environment\n

This position is performed in a remote work setting, allowing flexibility for both you and our clients. Our practice operates mainly during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will be part of a collaborative team environment that values professional input and strives for the highest standards in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate and document the severity, frequency, and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Work collaboratively with each client to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and preferences.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the client's needs.

• Provide thorough education and resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor client progress through consistent follow-up sessions and modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Establish and maintain strong communication and referral relationships with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless client care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and treatment methodologies in mood disorder therapy to enhance your clinical practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including participation in case consultations and team meetings to refine your skills.

• Advocate for clients' needs, working towards destigmatization of mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with a varied client base, predominantly focusing on adults experiencing mood disorders. These can range from mild to severe cases, requiring innovative therapeutic approaches and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current California state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A proven track record of effective treatment outcomes in the mental health field.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.
