As we continue to expand our operations, we seek to enrich our North American Team with the addition of a Senior Business Development Manager. Job Summary The Senior Business Development Manager at CIRRO Fulfillment will drive growth by developing and executing strategies to acquire mid-sized companies in the apparel, e-commerce, and consumer & retail industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development within the logistics sector, a strong existing network in the target industries, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans (hunting) to achieve company growth objectives. Identify and prioritize target markets and customers within the apparel, e-commerce, and consumer retail sectors. Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mid-sized companies. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers in target industries. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends. Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with potential clients. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized logistics solutions that meet client needs. Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate and close business deals to secure new contracts. Networking and Industry Engagement: Leverage existing network to generate leads and build partnerships. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and expand professional network. Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on sales performance and key business metrics. Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and progress. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry. Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing mid-sized company accounts in the apparel, e-commerce, or consumer retail sectors. Extensive existing network of contacts within the target industries. Skills: Strong strategic planning and business development skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and market research capabilities. Self‑motivated and results‑oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
