Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Allegheny Family Connection Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluating each client's mental health needs, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools.

• Providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate through emotional and psychological challenges.

• Facilitating therapy sessions focused on diverse issues such as family conflicts, grief, trauma, and adjustment disorders.

• Developing personalized treatment plans and setting measurable goals in collaboration with clients.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of each session in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will encompass a diverse client population, including individuals and families coping with: - Alcohol abuse
- Physical and psychological abuse
- Grief and loss issues
- Family conflicts and sibling disputes
- Challenges associated with blended families and remarriage
- Issues surrounding separation and divorce

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
