Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide evidence-based virtual mental health therapy sessions, leveraging an intuitive telehealth platform to manage client appointments and documentation efficiently.

• Utilize evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to facilitate positive client outcomes.

• Offer empathetic guidance and support to clients in navigating life's challenges, including stress, trauma, and relationship issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves first responders, including police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel, who may encounter unique stressors in their professions. As part of our team, you will engage with clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges—from anxiety and depression to PTSD and substance use concerns. Your role is critical in providing culturally competent care that respects their backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• An active LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in the state of California is essential for this position.

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient or telehealth setting is preferred.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.

• Proficient in using digital tools for appointment management and clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
