Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining the collaborative spirit of our team. You will engage with clients through teletherapy and occasional in-person sessions at our outpatient office, ensuring clients feel comfortable and supported. Our work setting is designed to promote a healthy work-life balance, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and specific needs, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive therapeutic outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, associated challenges, treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s health are addressed.

• Maintain current knowledge of advancements in the field of mental health, particularly mood disorders, to inform evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment updates clearly and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients and work to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders by promoting awareness and understanding of these conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, providing essential support and treatment tailored to each individual's circumstances. Your role is crucial in helping these individuals navigate their daily challenges, fostering an environment where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to overcome their obstacles and achieve their mental wellness goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge and practical application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT and DBT.

• Proficient understanding of psychopharmacology, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with psychiatric services.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive clinical outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with a diverse client population.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a remote setting with a focus on teletherapy is highly desirable.
