Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine individual patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal mental health outcomes.

• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to review progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

• Coordinate with supervisors to outline a schedule that includes telehealth appointments and necessary follow-ups for ongoing client support.

• Engage in meetings with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and leveraging collective expertise to enhance patient care strategies.

• Document and maintain accurate progress notes, charting client developments monthly and quarterly to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on the implementation of treatment plans and use of documentation tools to ensure quality standards are met.

• Act as a liaison between clients and the larger mental health community, aiding in personal and professional development opportunities.

• Regularly review and adapt therapy strategies based on client feedback and changing needs, promoting a client-centered approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our focus includes but is not limited to family therapy, trauma resolution, substance misuse, and general mental health support. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their emotional hurdles and achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Qualifications\n

• Mandatory: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and unrestricted LCPC licensure in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.

• In-depth knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.

• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n
