This full-time remote position offers a salary range between USD 70,000 and 110,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and contributions.

Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, the work environment at Tarrant Post-Acute Care allows for flexibility and the convenience of telehealth services. You will utilize secure online platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective care from the comfort of their homes. Our practice is operational seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, offering you the opportunity to design a schedule that best fits your lifestyle while meeting the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, analyzing patients’ trauma histories to determine optimal treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individualized and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response for patients in distress.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to create cohesive and comprehensive care plans for patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to an environment of continuous professional development in trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced trauma or who are facing mental health challenges related to trauma. In addition to trauma survivors, you will also be open to working with couples, expanding your skill set and patient impact. We encourage our counselors to develop self-guided determination to complete clinical documentation within 24 hours, ensuring timely care and response for our clients.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.

• Strong foundational understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Capability to handle high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma.
