In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health care through telehealth platforms, ensuring that our services are accessible to patients in need. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, enabling therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while utilizing comprehensive telehealth systems to engage with clients. You will benefit from a flexible work setting, with regular hours Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; however, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate the unique scheduling needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture the unique experiences of patients and tailor effective treatment plans accordingly.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions that resonate with each individual's cultural and personal backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive therapeutic experience.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address patients' mental health challenges, nurturing resilience and fostering positive growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless and comprehensive care to all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support, ensuring timely and effective responses during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, facilitating continuity of care.

• Engage in case conferences, cultural competency training sessions, and team meetings to foster a strong collaborative environment.

• Stay up to date on current research and best practices in cultural competency and mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, serving individuals from varying cultural backgrounds, including those who may face additional barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Your work will be instrumental in promoting mental health equity by providing tailored care that respects and acknowledges the cultural identities of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, providing a strong foundation in mental health practices.

• A valid and current state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, demonstrating your qualifications to practice independently.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, as well as evidence-based treatment modalities targeted towards culturally responsive therapy.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on inclusivity and culturally responsive practices.
\n
• Strong proficiency in crisis intervention, allowing you to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong rapport with a diverse array of clients.
\n
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology to manage patient documentation efficiently.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.

• A collaborative mindset, comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
