Job Title Sales Representative Salary $50,000 – $60,000 Annually, plus placement bonus (depending on experience) Location 5th AVE, Manhattan Purpose A socially conscious company is seeking a Job Developer (also known as a Sales Representative, Career Agent, or Employment Coordinator) to generate job opportunities for low-income and underserved job seekers and successfully place them in sustainable employment. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a background in Sales and Marketing who is passionate about landing new job orders and accounts, providing career advice to marginalized job seekers, and matching them to open opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities Identify and outreach to employers with open job opportunities to generate new leads Develop partnerships with employers to help program participants find jobs in a variety of in-demand and growing industries Provide career coaching/counseling, interview prep, and resume reviews for job-ready participants Meet with participants and job seekers to match them with available job opportunities Schedule participants with employer partners for interviews; conduct ongoing follow-up with candidates sent on job interviews Generate sales leads and obtain referrals from current employer partnerships Establish and maintain strong relationships with employer partners, including conducting on-site visits to ensure quality of service and generate additional job orders Meet weekly, quarterly, and annual job placement targets Effectively manage a daily schedule of site visits, appointments, and overall territory management Model professionalism and inclusiveness, cultivate a safe environment for career development, and motivate clients to find full-time employment Desired Qualifications Minimum of a High School Diploma and relevant sales experience; 4-year degree preferred 2–4 years of experience with Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales Excellent negotiation, customer service, and cold calling skills Passion for working with special and at-risk populations, including but not limited to public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals, persons with mental and/or physical disabilities, military veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, sound judgment, and organizational abilities Understanding of workforce development, employment services, and adult education is a definite plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint preferred Benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Generous Paid Time Off Package 401(k) with Employer Matching after 1 Year Free Gym Membership through NYSC after 1 Year Wonderful team, great work-life balance, and an opportunity to work toward an important mission of helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr America Works of New York Inc
