Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule that promotes a balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being. You will maintain regular communication with our outpatient office team, participating in meetings and collaborative initiatives as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for students to gather insightful information regarding their emotional and psychological state.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, focusing on their mental health, emotional well-being, and school integration.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including conducting individual and group therapy sessions that enhance personal growth, emotional regulation, and coping strategies.
\n
• Working closely with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to coordinate holistic care and strategies for student success.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies and stabilizing interventions as needed.
\n
• Delivering psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity and quality of care.

• Actively participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to further enhance your practice and contribute to organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with students who have diverse special needs, including those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and those who have experienced trauma. The focus is not only on therapeutic intervention but also on fostering an inclusive educational environment, empowering students to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Texas.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations, demonstrating strong crisis intervention skills.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with digital tools for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly desirable:

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
