Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions for individuals and family groups, focusing on grief counseling, emotional support, and coping strategies.

• Design, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of each client’s needs and goals.

• Engage with family members, offering support, education, and resources to help them navigate the complexities of care during this challenging time.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other social workers in the hospice center to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and remain current with best practices in clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on providing mental health support to patients in hospice care who are facing terminal illnesses, as well as their families who may be experiencing grief, anxiety, and emotional distress. This role will require an empathetic approach and the ability to engage with individuals who may be experiencing some of their most challenging moments in life. Your expertise will empower families to cope with loss and help ensure patients receive the dignity and comfort they deserve.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and active LICSW license in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on hospice or end-of-life care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
