Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with state regulations and industry best practices, including documentation of treatment progress and outcomes.

• Provide family support and psychoeducation as needed, assisting families in understanding treatment processes and facilitating their engagement in care.

• Utilize community resources and referral networks to maximize treatment efficacy, including collaboration with public and private agencies.

• Administer psychological evaluations and screenings for psychotropic medication, consulting with medical professionals as necessary.

• Facilitate outpatient psychotherapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups.

• Instruct clients and their families on adherence to therapeutic regimens and medication compliance, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to support their own mental health journeys.

• Participate in professional development activities, contributing to departmental program evaluation and enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse array of clients, including adults and children experiencing acute or chronic mental illness. Our client population encompasses a range of conditions, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, necessitating a compassionate and tailored approach to therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A National Provider Identifier must be obtained upon hiring.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 122,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
