Work Environment

This role requires you to work onsite primarily in patients' homes, providing personalized care and rehabilitation services. Our therapists enjoy the flexibility of choosing their hours, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday. The support and resources from our administrative staff will enable you to focus entirely on providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a home care setting, developing comprehensive assessments that guide individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methods including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on techniques, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and improve patient mobility.
• Implement customized plans tailored to specific therapeutic goals, ensuring that each patient can achieve their optimal functional potential.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes, ensuring clarity in communication with medical teams and insurance providers.
• Reassess patients regularly to update treatment plans, adapting therapeutic goals as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Provide guidance and training for patients, caregivers, and families in the use of assistive devices and relevant physical therapy techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest best practices in physical therapy by attending workshops, engaging with professional networks, and participating in professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the field, demonstrating effective hands-on patient care.
• Current CPR certification is required to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings is preferred, allowing an understanding of the unique challenges and rewards associated with providing therapy in patients' homes.
• Prior experience working with an orthopedic population strongly preferred to enhance the effectiveness of patient treatment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits
