Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively while providing essential mental health support to clients. However, you will engage regularly with an integrated team to ensure that our therapeutic approaches align with best practices in trauma-informed care. The role also demands adaptability, as some scheduling flexibility may be necessary based on patient needs. Our work hours are typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, and identify suitable treatment options tailored to individual needs.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and healing.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during treatment sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, aiding clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and essential multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care for every patient.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients have immediate access to the resources they need.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and effective resources available to support their journeys.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities, focusing on trauma-informed care improvements.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of services provided.

Your role will primarily focus on servicing individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
