This position primarily operates in a remote capacity to cater to the needs of school-aged children while collaborating closely with educational staff, parents, and community organizations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to identify emotional, social, and financial needs, followed by creating individualized care plans that address these factors.

• Provide both individual and group counseling to students, facilitating discussions around topics such as anxiety, adjustment issues, grief, and coping strategies.

• Coordinate with teachers and school administration to integrate social work support into the educational environment, promoting a culture of mental health awareness.

• Develop and implement post-discharge plans and connect families with local resources to ensure continuity of care.

• Offer education about mental health treatment options and available community resources to students and their families through group workshops and individual consultations.

• Respond to student crises effectively, offering immediate support while ensuring the safety and well-being of students in distress.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with both legal statutes and best practice guidelines, ensuring compliance with school policies.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
