Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients, analyzing their mental health status and history to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Engage in regular and meaningful sessions with clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to equip them with the tools necessary to manage and overcome their challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a diverse range of client issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will interact with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, requiring a high degree of cultural competence and adaptability in your therapeutic approach. Your ability to build rapport and trust with patients will be paramount in fostering effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling.

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic methodologies, and evidence-based practices.

• Proven ability to conduct individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.

Compensation and Benefits\n
