Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans that incorporate their unique backgrounds and circumstances.

• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions that aim to enhance client well-being, adjusting strategies as needed based on client feedback and progress.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients and their families, providing psychoeducation on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available support systems.

• Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive appropriate services and resources, while maintaining a commitment to ethical practice.

• Stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and interventions through continuing education and professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of growth and learning within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be serving individuals receiving hospice care, including the elderly and individuals with chronic or terminal illnesses. You will have the opportunity to provide emotional support and counseling tailored specifically to the challenges faced by clients and their families during end-of-life care. Recognizing the unique needs of this population, your expertise will be invaluable in helping clients navigate their emotional journeys and providing guidance to family members coping with the complexities of grief and loss.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Nevada.

• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to create effective and personalized care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
