Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client needs.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through detailed interviews, observations, and assessments.
\n
• Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions, applying appropriate therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
\n
• Continuously monitor and assess progress in therapeutic interventions, adjusting plans as needed to enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Coordinate care by collaborating effectively with medical professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, and other mental health providers, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with electronic health records, particularly with systems like AVATAR.
\n
• Support family members and caregivers by providing resources and strategies to address their loved ones' mental health challenges.
\n
• Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about mental health services and promote an understanding of available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your expertise will be critical in tailoring interventions that resonate with each client’s unique experiences, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).

• Successfully passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an approachable manner.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and a supportive attitude in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, especially in a telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
