People's Talk Mental Health Services is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a counselor, you will provide essential telehealth services focusing on the rehabilitation and support of adolescents and young adults facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. This role offers the flexibility of a contract or full-time (W2) position, allowing you to select the arrangement that best suits your scheduling needs.

Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from home or an environment where you feel most productive. Our Operations team diligently manages administrative tasks, enabling clinicians to prioritize direct client interaction and care without the burden of paperwork. The clinical team collaborates effectively through regular meetings and digital communication tools, ensuring continuity and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual assessments for new clients to understand their mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy sessions, keeping them limited to a manageable number of clients (maximum of 8) to foster strong therapeutic alliances.

• Participate in case discussions with fellow clinicians, contributing to collective learning and the exchange of best practices.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans in our secure electronic health record system.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through access to free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) tailored to meet licensing requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically targets adolescent and young adult clients (ages 12-30) who are navigating various mental health issues. The goal is to provide preventive care and therapeutic services to help these clients develop sustainable coping mechanisms, promote healing, and improve their overall well-being. We center our approach around creating a non-judgmental and understanding environment, essential for fostering trust with our youth clientele.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of or eligibility for the following licenses: LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT. We also welcome junior-licensed therapists, as we provide supervision.

• Availability to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week for contract roles or up to 40 hours for full-time positions, with some evening and Saturday availability required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer our clinical staff free access to online CEUs, enabling continued professional growth and compliance with licensing requirements.
