Our firm is dedicated to a fully remote work setting, allowing our therapists the flexibility to manage their schedules while ensuring they can provide high-quality care from the comfort of their homes. Our telehealth platform is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate seamless sessions and maintain robust communication with patients. You will enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs, strengths, and areas for growth.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, adapting your approach to meet varying needs.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that help participants share experiences and strategies for coping with mental health challenges.

• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, demonstrating quick decision-making and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources in the community to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will include a diverse range of individuals grappling with various mental health diagnoses. You will work primarily with adults; however, you may also encounter adolescents and families seeking support. Your empathy, commitment, and expertise will directly impact these patients' well-being and recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

Ideal candidates for this position should possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in at least one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Thorough understanding of various mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and excellent communication skills.
\n
• Commitment to upholding professional standards and ethics.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and with using technology for counseling.

• An ability to engage effectively in a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics.

Preferred Experience\n

Although two years of experience is required, candidates with more substantial backgrounds in mental health therapy, particularly in outpatient settings or tech-assisted services, will find their application particularly appealing. Experience working with diverse populations, including culturally and economically diverse groups, is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
