Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage comprehensive patient care alongside office staff and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Engage in open and effective communication with pediatric patients and their families regarding therapy progress, home programs, and any challenges they may encounter during treatment.
• Refer patients and caregivers to specialized services, additional professionals, or community resources as needed, to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly consult with physicians on patient outcomes and document findings accurately to maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Examine and evaluate new patients, creating tailored treatment plans that address their specific mobility issues and therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement engaging clinical treatment sessions that include direct physical therapy, assessments, and educational training for families on home care strategies.
• Restores and maintains patient function by developing therapy strategies that improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent potential disabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with pediatric patients ranging from infants to adolescents, often dealing with conditions such as developmental delays, orthopedic complications, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Your expertise will not only improve their physical capabilities but will also greatly enhance their overall quality of life, helping them engage more actively in their daily activities and community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Strong foundational knowledge in human anatomy and physiology.
• Proven ability to effectively work with pediatric patient populations.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques that enhance patient outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster empathetic relationships with children and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
