Position Overview

Core Strength Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Physical Therapist to join our expanding team in Palm Coast, Florida. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the recovery and rehabilitation of our patients, working in an onsite rehabilitation facility. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' disabilities and functional limitations to devise tailored treatment plans.
• Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions for patients experiencing impairments due to injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes meticulously in charts and electronic health records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education on exercises, mobility strategies, and self-care techniques to enhance treatment adherence.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary, integrating feedback from other healthcare professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of a diverse range of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgical patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and older adults working to maintain mobility. You will play a vital role in restoring their function, alleviating pain, and preventing further disability through customized rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.
• A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• At least 3 years of experience specifically in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong competencies in clinical knowledge, communication skills, customer service, and confidentiality.
• The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with specialization in manual therapy techniques, sports rehabilitation, or pediatric physical therapy will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and outcome measurement tools is also an advantage.
