Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide onsite therapeutic interventions during critical crisis situations, ensuring that clients and families receive immediate and effective support.

• Collaborate with other first responders, including law enforcement and emergency medical personnel, to offer comprehensive crisis support.

• Lead the dispatched mobile crisis team, offering clinical guidance and support to team members while managing the urgent needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand and analyze clients’ mental health needs, utilizing a framework that informs appropriate treatment recommendations.

• Assist clients in accessing community resources by making referrals for case management, placement, and aftercare services whenever necessary.

• Maintain a strong awareness of local mental health resources and programs that can assist clients beyond therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role requires a deep understanding of diverse patient populations, including individuals facing mental health challenges, crisis situations, and those experiencing co-occurring disorders. The therapist will be adept in working with adolescents, adults, and families, facilitating evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with unrestricted and active status.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills and a commitment to client care.

• Proven clinical judgment and the ability to make informed decisions based on patient assessments and observations.

• Thorough knowledge of adolescent mental health, along with an understanding of common co-occurring disorders.
