Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Arrowhead Mental Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify students' mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored specifically to the unique needs of each student.

• Maintaining detailed and timely clinical records, adhering to HIPAA and relevant regulatory standards to ensure high-quality care and confidentiality.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychologists, psychiatrists, and educational staff, to ensure coordinated and effective care for each student.

• Participating in regular team meetings and peer reviews to enhance your professional development and improve the overall quality of care provided.

• Providing education and support to students and their families regarding mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on supporting school-aged children and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your role as an LCSW will be crucial in helping these young clients manage their emotions, leading to improved academic performance and personal well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
