Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, working directly in patients' homes. You will have the unique opportunity to interact with patients in familiar environments, promoting comfort and encouraging motivation. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for consistent patient management and attention. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy care that addresses the unique needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Manage a moderate caseload, providing sufficient time and attention to individualized therapy plans for effective results.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to inform treatment strategies, drawing on two or more years of relevant experience.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatments designed to improve patients' mobility and functional capacity.
• Focus on non-surgical alternatives to various conditions, minimizing dependence on medication through holistic care approaches.
• Develop detailed care plans that incorporate diverse treatment modalities tailored to each patient's progress and needs.
• Utilize various specialized physical therapy techniques to enhance fitness and wellness, surrounding the patient with support for optimal recovery.
• Encourage patient motivation by providing continual support and effective guidance throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Promote healthy lifestyle habits, focusing on improvements in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights to enhance comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment results for effective case management and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children to older adults, encompassing a variety of common musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. You will work closely with individuals who are recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating after sports injuries, fostering a compassionate environment that addresses physical and emotional recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required; advanced qualifications (DPT) are preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia is required, without any history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and successful exercise program development.
• Comfortable utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for precise patient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy techniques informed by the latest research findings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred, especially in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
