Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and needs, ensuring an accurate understanding of their challenges.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals based on assessment findings, incorporating input from the clients themselves.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize client outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, primary care providers, and case managers, to provide a holistic approach to client care.

• Advocate for clients' rights and access to appropriate mental health services, ensuring they are aware of and able to utilize community resources effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily focus on individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship concerns. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds and maintain sensitivity to each individual’s unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for specialization in mood disorders.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically designed to address mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with psychiatric professionals.

• Demonstrated success in delivering treatment interventions that yield positive outcomes for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those experiencing disabilities or significant life challenges, is highly regarded. A familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology is advantageous for facilitating effective remote sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for bonuses based on performance.
