Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, with therapists visiting patients in their home settings throughout Arlington, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their homes to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific recovery goals.
• Implement diverse therapy techniques, including exercise regimens, therapeutic modalities, and hands-on treatments to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Stay proficient by documenting treatment protocols, patient responses, and progress meticulously to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Continuously reassess therapeutic goals and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient improvements and challenges.
• Educate patients, family members, and other caregivers on rehabilitation techniques, assistive devices, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a seamless continuation of care.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, completing certifications, and networking with other professionals to stay current with advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Home Care Physical Therapist, you will work with a varied patient demographic, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic conditions, and neurological ailments. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid DPT license to practice in the State of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
