Sales Director (Embedded Memory)

An established, growth-oriented technology manufacturer is seeking a senior sales leader to drive new business expansion across the Western United States, with a primary focus on the Bay Area. This role carries full regional ownership for revenue growth, strategic account development, and customer engagement within the OEM ecosystem. The successful candidate will operate at both strategic and executional levels—engaging early in customer design cycles, influencing technical and commercial decisions, and building long-term partnerships with high-value customers. This position offers significant autonomy, visibility with executive leadership, and the opportunity to materially impact regional growth in a dynamic, technology-driven market. Key Responsibilities Own and execute the regional sales strategy to drive new design wins and sustainable revenue growth across assigned Western U.S. accounts Establish and deepen executive-level relationships within OEM organizations, engaging from early concept through full production lifecycle Lead commercial engagement on major accounts while coordinating internal stakeholders to maximize customer value and long-term opportunity Serve as the primary regional interface between customers and internal business functions, aligning technical, commercial, and delivery priorities Provide accurate pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and regular performance reporting to senior leadership Manage and optimize external sales representation where appropriate to expand market reach and customer coverage Preferred Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of direct sales experience within the semiconductor, memory, or storage technology sectors Demonstrated success selling into Tier-1 OEM customers with proven account penetration and growth achievements Strong technical fluency across solid-state storage, flash memory, and DRAM technologies, with the ability to engage in detailed customer discussions Established network of OEM decision-makers and program-level contacts within relevant markets Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets through disciplined execution and strategic account development Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional, fast-paced environments Strong analytical, forecasting, and communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience What You’ll Get in Return Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Significant autonomy and influence within a growing organization Career advancement opportunities aligned with company expansion A collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven culture Equal Opportunity Statement This company is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nexus Semiconductor Recruitment
