Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and thorough evaluations of clients to accurately identify their mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Delivering evidence-based therapy services, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to effectively address mental health issues.

• Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to provide coordinated care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's health are considered and addressed.

• Offering crisis intervention services, giving immediate support and expert guidance during acute mental health emergencies.

• Engaging in proactive community outreach efforts and educational initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and nurture therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity, demonstrating effective engagement skills with various client populations.
\n
• Strong organizational skills for timely and accurate documentation, along with adept time-management abilities to handle a caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in community-based mental health settings, crisis intervention, and group therapy facilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
