Work Environment

Located in the heart of Fairfax, our clinic provides an onsite working environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to collect baseline data that inform evidence-based therapy decisions and improve patient outcomes.
• Administer hands-on therapy, provide therapeutic exercises, and deliver educational resources to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment methodologies as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
• Inform and educate patients and their families regarding exercise techniques, pain management strategies, and long-term care practices that promote sustained health and prevent re-injury.
• Stay current with industry developments, integrating new treatment modalities into practice to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily involve treating outpatient patients, focusing on injury recovery and rehabilitation. With a patient volume of 1-2 patients per hour, you will ensure that each individual receives the focused attention and care they require, facilitating their journey to recovery in a compassionate and dedicated environment.

Qualifications

• A valid Virginia Physical Therapist License in good standing with the state board.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with patients and foster teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.
• A passionate dedication to delivering patient care and rehabilitation, with a commitment to supporting individuals outweigh their health challenges.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings is preferred; however, new graduates passionate about physical rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
• Certifications, such as CPR/BLS, must be current or obtainable upon hire.
• An aptitude for functioning effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
