Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Patchogue, our Surgical Center is an onsite facility where collaboration and teamwork form the backbone of our operations. You will work closely with a dynamic team of physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced yet supportive environment. The schedule comprises Monday through Friday shifts, amounting to 40 hours per week, with a shift ending at 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, thoughtfully reviewing medical histories and pertinent records to inform clinical decision-making.
• Order and interpret essential diagnostic tests, such as blood analyses and imaging studies, to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and treat various acute health conditions and illnesses, ensuring the delivery of effective and timely interventions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases, actively monitoring their responses to therapies.
• Prescribe medications in compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements while closely tracking their effectiveness and side effects.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and schedules using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and preventive health strategies.
• Promote a culture of health and wellness, encouraging patients to engage in healthy lifestyle choices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to clinical research initiatives as part of our commitment to advancing healthcare practices.

Qualifications

• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and current DEA registration.
