This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while serving clients in the San Jose, California area. As part of an outpatient office setting, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, engaging in regular virtual meetings and discussions to ensure a streamlined and effective treatment approach for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Counsel and provide crisis intervention to clients, utilizing therapeutic modalities to assess and treat emotional and behavioral issues effectively.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of clinical notes and progress reports in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, including discharge strategies based on comprehensive psychosocial assessments.

• Establish strong working relationships with community leaders and resource groups, representing Mindful Therapy & Wellness in meetings and on various committees that address social and health-related needs of our clients.

• Develop therapeutic strategies and interventions that are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals and families.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to promote successful outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role entails working with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families facing various challenges. You will engage with patients recovering from emotional trauma, managing mental health disorders, and navigating substance use issues. Our approach is rooted in a deep respect for each client’s story, and you will utilize culturally informed techniques to ensure effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) is required.

• Active and unrestricted California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits\n
