Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health concerns, using diagnostic tools to inform the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Establish clear therapeutic goals in partnership with clients and monitor their progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting approaches as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

• Offer teletherapy services, facilitating access for clients unable to attend in-person sessions due to geographical or physical barriers, and extending your outreach to a broader community.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of sessions and treatment plans to adhere to ethical standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and staying updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults, adolescents, and families dealing with a range of mental health issues, predominantly anxiety and depression. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that respects each individual's unique experiences and context.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the state of Texas.

• A relevant Master's degree or Doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients quickly and effectively.

• A compassionate, empathetic approach to therapy, combined with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently without compromising the quality of client care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in client populations experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other related disorders will be valued. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic techniques is also a plus, as it will enhance your capability to serve a wider range of clients.
