Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and preferences, thereby developing tailored treatment plans that acknowledge their unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based interventions across various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, addressing diverse therapeutic needs of clients.

• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering a sense of community and providing education on mental health topics.

• Work collaboratively with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic care that ensures all aspects of the patient’s mental health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, maintaining a composed and compassionate demeanor to effectively support clients in times of acute distress.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and local community resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Extensive knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to this role.

• Strong ability to perform thorough mental health assessments and design impactful treatment plans.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in both individual and group therapy settings, working with a wide range of client demographics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients and collaboration with team members.

• Sound ethical judgment and adherence to professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology applications.

Preferred Experience\n
