Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic work, which includes:

• Conducting joint therapy sessions with couples and families, as well as individual sessions with family members to address their unique concerns.
\n
• Providing evidence-based interventions for issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, communication difficulties, and adjustment challenges related to separation or divorce.
\n
• Utilizing digital therapy tools to facilitate remote therapy sessions efficiently.
\n
• Implementing customized treatment plans tailored to address the specific mental health needs of clients.
\n
• Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches and referring clients to additional resources as needed.

• Regularly documenting patient progress and treatment efficacy in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients span a wide demographic spectrum, including adults, children, and adolescents facing various life challenges. You will work with individuals and families dealing with:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
\n
• Physical and psychological trauma stemming from abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss, helping clients navigate through bereavement and emotional pain.

• Family and sibling conflicts, facilitating better communication and understanding.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold the following qualifications:

• A current and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field.

• Demonstrated experience and commitment to offering quality patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
