Work Environment\n

This role is conducted in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining significant support for the school’s mental health initiatives. You will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, counselors, and psychiatric professionals, all working together to provide a coordinated approach to student mental health. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed to provide comprehensive mental health coverage.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to understand students' personal histories, current challenges, and risk factors that may affect their emotional and psychological health.

• Collaborate with students to develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing their specific mental health concerns, promoting emotional resilience and integration into the school community.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to effectively treat a spectrum of mental health challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering personal growth, enhancing emotional regulation, and equipping students with effective coping strategies.

• Work closely with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, to ensure holistic care and seamless communication in treatment processes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during urgent mental health situations.

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience various mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Texas, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health or educational setting, demonstrating your capacity to engage with young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
