Work Environment\n

As a remote social worker, you will operate within a supportive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes mental health and educational success. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and requisite on-call availability to provide timely support for crises. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for a diverse student population, ensuring thorough understanding of their emotional and behavioral needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for each student's needs, particularly focusing on ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma responses.

• Collaborate extensively with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to offer holistic care.

• Deliver crisis intervention and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for all students.

• Create and present psychoeducational materials for students and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions and available resources.

• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in line with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and quality care.

Your primary focus will be students with diverse special needs that call for specialized mental health interventions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure in Georgia.

• A solid two years of post-licensure experience in a similar capacity is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n
