Working remotely from Kiowa, Colorado, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team within our Special Education Program. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and weekend rotations required to meet the needs of our students. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, utilizing a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific mental health challenges and educational goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly for ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote personal growth, emotional regulation, and coping strategies, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and therapists, to ensure a cohesive approach to student care.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support in mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, resources, and available support systems.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings and professional development activities to stay informed about industry standards and best practices.
