Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with varying degrees of special needs to evaluate their emotional and psychological well-being.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing mental health issues and facilitating successful integration into the educational community.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and resources to students with ASD, learning disabilities, emotional disorders, and ADHD, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of coping strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to coordinate holistic care tailored to the unique needs of students.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate support and intervention during emergencies.
\n
• Educate students and families on mental health conditions and resources, enhancing their understanding and ability to cope.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development activities to ensure cohesive services.

Your role will be focused on providing mental health support to students within our Special Education Program, who may experience a range of challenges including emotional dysregulation, learning disabilities, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current and valid LCSW license in Pennsylvania.

Compensation and Benefits\n
