Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, including diagnostic evaluations that help determine appropriate interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each student.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, drawing from your expertise in managing conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to foster personal growth and effective coping strategies among students.

• Collaborate closely with educators, special education teachers, speech and occupational therapists, and other members of the student support team to provide comprehensive care.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response.

• Educate students and families on mental health issues, resources, and coping strategies to empower their journeys toward emotional well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with appropriate legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss student progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.

• Stay informed on pertinent laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines relevant to the delivery of mental health services within the educational context.

Your work will primarily focus on students with special needs who require tailored mental health support. This population includes individuals with ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and those impacted by trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license recognized in Pennsylvania.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and creating detailed treatment plans.
